Terms of use and sale
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Cubikmarket (https://cubikmarket.com), whether to browse, buy or sell. Creating an account or placing an order means accepting them. The publisher’s details are in the legal notice.
1. What Cubikmarket does
Cubikmarket is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent creators of Minecraft resources: builds, maps, plugins, 3D models, texture packs and server setups. Each resource is published, described, priced and sold by its creator, who is the seller. Cubikmarket hosts the listings and files, collects payment on behalf of the creator and pays them, after deducting its commission.
Cubikmarket is not the author of the resources and does not check each file in depth before it goes online. Listings are reviewed (see section 9), but the creator remains responsible for the content and its compliance with the law.
Cubikmarket is an unofficial site, not approved by and not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
2. Account
- An account is required to buy, leave a review, send a message or sell. It can be created with an email address and password, or with Discord or Google.
- The information provided must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity on your account.
- Minors must have permission from a parent or guardian before making a purchase.
- Cubikmarket may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after informing the user, unless the urgency or seriousness of the breach requires immediate action.
- You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@cubikmarket.com. Purchases already made stay attached to the account until it is closed.
3. Creators: becoming a seller
Any user can open a store. To sell, the creator must:
- activate payouts with Stripe (identity check carried out by Stripe) and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement;
- state truthfully whether they sell as a professional (company, sole trader) or as a private individual, and, if they are a professional, comply with the obligations that apply to them (registration, invoicing, taxes, consumer law);
- declare their income to the relevant authorities. Cubikmarket may be required by law to send the tax authorities a summary of the sales made by each creator.
Creator commitments
- Rights: the creator guarantees that they own all rights to what they sell (files, images, texts) or are authorised to sell it. Content copied, leaked, ripped from another server, resold without permission or including someone else’s work without a licence is prohibited.
- Game assets: files from Minecraft (original textures, sounds, code) must not be distributed. Builds, models and plugins made by the creator are accepted.
- Honest listings: the description, images, 3D preview, compatible versions and contents must match the files actually delivered.
- Safe files: no malware, backdoor, hidden data collection, or code that disables a server or harms its users.
- Support: the creator answers buyers’ questions through the site’s messaging and fixes a file that does not work as described.
- Payment through the site: it is forbidden to direct buyers to a payment outside Cubikmarket for a resource listed on the site.
The creator indemnifies the publisher against any claim from a third party relating to a resource they have published.
4. Licences
Each resource is sold with one or more licences (up to four) defined by its creator: name, scope (for example one server, or a network), price, and lists of what is allowed and forbidden. These are shown on the listing before purchase and form part of the sale contract.
Unless the licence states otherwise, a purchase gives the buyer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the resource within the scope of the licence chosen. It does not allow the buyer to:
- resell, share or redistribute the files, modified or not;
- present the resource as their own creation;
- use it beyond the scope of the licence (for example on several servers with a single-server licence).
Intellectual property in the resource remains with the creator.
5. Prices and orders
- Prices are freely set by creators and shown in euros, all taxes included where applicable. The total to pay is shown in the cart before payment.
- The cart can contain resources from several creators. A single payment covers the whole order; each line is a separate contract between the buyer and the creator concerned.
- The order is final once payment is confirmed. A summary is available in the buyer’s account.
- A buyer cannot buy their own resource, or the same licence twice.
6. Payment and commission
Payment is processed by Stripe. Cubikmarket collects the price on behalf of the creator (as a payment agent), then transfers the price to them after deducting the platform commission. No bank details pass through Cubikmarket’s servers.
The commission is paid by the creator, not by the buyer: it is deducted from the sale price. Its rate is shown to the creator in their seller area (Earnings and payouts) before they put a resource on sale. A change in rate applies only to sales made after the creator has been informed of it.
7. Delivery and right of withdrawal
Resources are digital content, delivered immediately: the files can be downloaded from the order page and the account library as soon as payment is confirmed.
Under article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium once performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal. Before paying, the buyer ticks a box requesting immediate access to the files and expressly waiving this right. Without this agreement, the order cannot be placed. The date of this agreement is recorded with the order.
8. Problems with a resource and refunds
- If a file does not work, is incomplete or does not match its description, first contact the creator through the site’s messaging.
- If no solution is found within 7 days, write to contact@cubikmarket.com with the order number. Cubikmarket reviews the case and may decide on a full or partial refund, charged to the creator.
- When the creator is a professional, the consumer buyer also benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code), which the creator owes them.
- A refunded purchase no longer gives access to the files or to the licence.
9. Review, moderation and removal
- Each new listing is checked by the Cubikmarket team before publication. It may be refused, with a reason, if it does not comply with these terms.
- A published resource may be hidden or removed, and an account suspended, in the event of a valid report, a breach of these terms, or an obligation under the law. The creator is informed of the decision and its reasons and may contest it by replying to the email received.
- Buyers keep access to resources already purchased, unless the removal is due to illegal content.
10. Listing order
In the catalogue, resources can be sorted by popularity (number of sales), rating (average adjusted for the number of reviews) or newest first. No creator pays to be ranked higher. Editorial selections (for example on the home page) are chosen by the Cubikmarket team.
11. Reviews
- Only a buyer of a resource can review it, once. All reviews are therefore linked to a verified purchase.
- Reviews are shown from newest to oldest. The creator can reply publicly.
- Reviews that are insulting, off-topic, contain personal data or are written in exchange for a reward are removed. No review is removed just because it is negative.
- Reviews may be shown in automatic translation, with the original one click away.
12. Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or infringes their rights (copyright, stolen content, malware, etc.) by writing to contact@cubikmarket.com. The report should include: the address of the page, an explanation of why the content is illegal, the name and email address of the person reporting it (except for certain offences provided for by law) and a statement that the report is made in good faith.
Cubikmarket acknowledges receipt, processes reports promptly and objectively, and informs the person reporting and the creator concerned of the decision taken and the means of contesting it. Abusive reports may lead to sanctions.
13. Messaging and translation
Messaging is for questions about resources and after-sales support. Spam, harassment and soliciting payment outside the site are prohibited. To make it easier for French and English speakers to talk to each other, messages, reviews and creator presentations may be translated automatically. These translations are provided for information only.
14. Liability
Cubikmarket provides the site as is and does its best to keep it available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted service. As a host and intermediary, Cubikmarket is not liable for content published by creators unless, having been informed that it is clearly illegal, it fails to act promptly. Each user remains responsible for how they use the resources, in particular on their server (backups, compatibility testing).
15. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.
16. Changes
These terms may change. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order. Users are informed of any significant change by email or on the site before it takes effect.
17. Mediation and applicable law
In the event of a dispute, first contact contact@cubikmarket.com so that a friendly solution can be sought. If this fails, a consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: [À COMPLÉTER : nom du médiateur de la consommation], [À COMPLÉTER : adresse ou site du médiateur].
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers retain the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live.
